Facial Soufflé Creams by Ambra

Facial Soufflé Creams by Ambra Ambra is a privately-owned soap factory located in the Ukrainian city of Lviv. Despite its small size, Ambra’s products are quite popular among Ukrainian consumers. The brand offers 100% natural, handmade personal care products, including soaps, solid shampoo bars, and more. Ambra’s facial soufflé creams are a great example of effective, affordable, all-natural cosmetics formulated with only 4 or 5 ingredients.

Ambra is primarily known for its high-quality soap made from scratch using cold process and based on a blend of vegetable oils, such as olive oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter, sea buckthorn oil, castor oil, palm oil, maize oil, and others. However, soap isn’t the only product that the Lviv Private Soap Factory has to offer. The brand produces facial soufflé creams, handmade solid shampoos, lip balms, body scrubs, cosmetic oils and butters, bath salts, beldi soap (also known as hammam soap or Moroccan soap), and more.

Facial soufflé creams by Ambra are one of the brand’s most popular skincare products. Each cream is formulated with several 100% natural ingredients such as whipped unrefined vegetable oils, vitamin E (tocopherol), a little maize starch as a stabilizer, and essential oils. The creams, like the rest of Ambra’s products, are free of synthetic preservatives, colourants, fragrances, and other artificial ingredients.

Facial creams by Ambra have a soufflé-like texture because they are based on whipped oils. Whipping helps to make the creams light and fluffy due to incorporating air bubbles into oils. Thanks to their airy texture, Ambra soufflé creams absorb quickly without leaving your skin feeling greasy or sticky. These delicate creams are suitable for all skin types, including very sensitive skin. They have a nourishing, moisturising and softening effect, and help to keep the skin of your face healthy, fresh and glowing for a long time.

Each soufflé cream by Ambra contains two natural vegetable oils. The first one is typically a butter (i.e. vegetable oil solid at room temperature), it serves as a base. The second oil complements it. For example, the Lviv Private soap factory offers soufflés with shea butter and avocado oil, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil, and mango seed butter and coconut oil.

Avocado & Shea Facial Soufflé Cream

This soufflé is based on shea butter that deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin, and makes it noticeably softer. Shea butter, also known as karite butter, is extracted from the nut of the shea tree native to Africa. It is rich in essential fatty acids, including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitic acid. Shea butter is widely used in cosmetics as a natural moisturiser. It is renowned for its strong rejuvenating and restorative properties.

The second vegetable oil contained in the cream is avocado oil. It is pressed from the fleshy pulp of the avocado fruit. Avocado oil is widely used as a skincare product because of its high skin penetration and rapid absorption. It is especially good for taking care of dry, mature and ageing skin. Avocado oil is high in vitamin E and monounsaturated fats. It is also known to enhance the absorption of carotenoids and other nutrients.

Cocoa & Almond Facial Soufflé Cream

This cream is formulated with unrefined cocoa butter that serves as its base. Cocoa butter, also known as theobroma oil, is extracted from the cocoa bean. Although it is best known as one of the main ingredients in chocolate, it is also widely used in cosmetics. Cocoa butter has pronounced nourishing, moisturising, softening and protective properties. It helps to protect skin from cold, strong wind, and even UV rays (although it won’t be able to replace a full-fledged UV filter). Cocoa butter also produces a rejuvenating and regenerative effect, it effectively prevents premature wrinkles and accelerates the healing of minor skin injuries.

The effect of cocoa butter is complemented and enhanced by sweet almond oil. It is obtained from the seed of the almond tree. It contains monounsaturated oleic acid, polyunsaturated linoleic acid, and about 5% saturated fat. Almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E. This oil is good for application to the skin as an emollient. It is great for taking care of delicate baby skin. Almond oil relieves itchy and irritated skin, prevents inflammation, rough skin and premature wrinkles.

Mango & Coconut Facial Soufflé Cream

Mango seed butter, also known as simply mango butter or mango oil, is extracted from the stone of the mango fruit. It is semi-solid at room temperature, but melts on contact with skin. Mango seed butter can be found in suncare balms, baby creams, hair products, and other moisturising products. It has a photoprotective effect and thus prevents photoageing. The butter is also known for its moisturising, regenerative and softening properties. It prevents premature wrinkles and rough skin, improves skin elasticity.

The second vegetable oil contained in the product is coconut oil. It is obtained from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts. Coconut oil is renowned for its high saturated fat content that makes it slow to oxidise. It is a great natural moisturiser. It prevents dry and flaky skin, relieves irritation, helps to keep the skin hydrated for a long time, and speeds up the restoration of sunburnt skin.
